The Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge (COMC) is one of Canada's premier mathematics competitions for secondary school students. This two-day boot camp is designed to help students prepare for the COMC by developing problem-solving skills and reviewing the topics that most frequently appear on past COMC exams.
The program combines focused instruction, worked examples, and guided problem solving using past COMC problems and similar contest-style questions.
Each day runs from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and includes pizza and refreshments for lunch.
Each day covers different material, and students may register for either day or both days. The program will be held on Western University's main campus. The exact location and room information will be communicated to registered participants prior to the start of the program.
