Western University is committed to supporting your arrival to campus. We strongly encourage students to book their quarantine accommodations through Western, accommodations are provided through a local hotel partner and are inclusive of meal service. The cost for full-degree main campus students is $100/day plus applicable taxes, if you are entering Canada for the first time for the 2021-22 academic year.

If you do not have a suitable place to self-quarantine, the University will support you with those arrangements. By booking, Western-arranged quarantine accommodation, a supporting Travel Logistics Plan will be provided to assist with clearing customs.

You are required to complete the following "Western-arranged quarantine accommodations" to secure a space at a designated location.

Travel requirements continue to change as announcements are made by the Canadian government. Packages are based on an 14-night stay.

Students who are currently in Canada who choose to travel internationally are not eligible for the subsidized rate.

Quarantine Package A - 14-Nights - for degree-seeking graduate, undergraduate, and professional WELC** students studying at Western University main campus, for your first entry into Canada for the 2021-22 academic year (per person) $1,400.00

If you are travelling within the academic year, you are only eligible for this subsidized rate once.

Quarantine Package B - 14-Nights - for postdocs, visiting research (VRO) students, exchange students, visiting faculty, and all Ivey students (per person) $2,195.40

Additional Guest Meal Package C - for spouses and family members (per person) $790.00

WELC** students must be entering a program at Western Main Campus.

(Brescia, Huron, Kings students are not eligible for Package B.  Students are encouraged to speak to their international offices to book accommodation supports).

All rates are subject to applicable taxes (13% HST)

A Logistics Coordinator will be in touch within 7 - 10 days with your quarantine accommodation location, and your supporting Travel Logistics Plan documentation required for customs and booking land travel.
