MEETING DESCRIPTION

This meeting will provide the audience an excellent opportunity to learn and share ideas with our cytopathologists and cytotechnologists.

We will revisit pitfalls in cytopathology and highlight recent advances and techniques as they apply to cytopathology.

At least 25% of the day will be dedicated to participate interaction.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After this educational session, participants will be able to:

1. Access their knowledge and skills on the current practice of lung and mediastinal cytopatholgy.

2. Recognize important changes in cytopathology patterns of practice in Ontario and understand their impact on the cytopathology profession.

3. Evaluate diagnostic approaches to complex cytological problems and pitfalls through interesting case studies.

4. Reflect on quality improvement initiatives in your cytopathology laboratory.
